Overview
Learn how to pay bills with the Bloc API
Our Bills Payment API allows you to integrate the purchase of airtime/data, electricity bills and TV subscriptions into your application.
When you successfully process a transaction, we pay you a commission
Helpful Tip:
We recently released a new version of the Bills Payment API much simpler than the previous one. A major improvement was that we reduced the number of endpoints required to only 5 — from a previous 11.
We've also consolidated all of our products into these 5 endpoints. You no longer have to integrate each bills payment product separately.
If you're still the using the old version, we advise that you update your integration to the new version. However, we still offer support for the old version.

MD vs Non-MD
When integrating electricity, you'll find the terms "MD" and "non-MD" on some electricity discos. MD means Maximum Demand, and it refers to industrial power consumption by large companies/factories. Non-MD means Non-Maximum Demand, which refers to regular household power consumption.
